Mountaineering Skills Camp – Chamonix

Welcome to a skills camp for those who want to develop in the mountains and take the next step towards becoming more independent in alpine climbing and mountaineering.

During a week in Chamonix, one of the world's best places for mountaineering, you will build your knowledge in both theory and practice. We train on techniques in rock, snow, ice and glaciers - and develop your skills to be able to move safely and effectively in alpine terrain.

Together with our certified IFMGA guides, you will receive personal coaching in small groups (max 1:4 + assistant guide). Every day we focus on new elements, and we combine technique, decision-making and risk management with practical exercises out on the mountain.

We live in a cozy apartment or chalet where breakfast and dinner are included.

Prerequisites

You have previous climbing experience and have a red or green card for belaying. You have completed our Basic Course in Alpine Climbing or have equivalent knowledge.

This camp is suitable for those who want to take the next step towards leading independently and developing your alpine skills.

We are located in easily accessible terrain with a focus on learning, safety and technique.

The camp feeling

This is more than a course – it is a camp.
We live together in a cozy apartment or chalet in Chamonix with space for community, laughter and new friends. Here we cook breakfast and dinner in teams, which creates a relaxed and family atmosphere where everyone helps each other.

Between days in the mountains there is time for conversation, exchange of experiences and inspiration. Many describe the evenings in the accommodation as one of the best parts of the week – when the day’s experiences are summed up over a shared dinner and the discussions continue well into the evening.

It is precisely this combination of training, learning and great hanging out that makes the camp so special. You will not only develop technically – you will also become part of a community that shares the same passion for the mountains.
